Abstract
The objective of this research is to find out the students’ perception on the use of Youtube Video in learning speaking skill especially the easiness of the use Youtube Video for learning speaking skill and Average to Understand of Speaking Learning English at semester fourth English Education Department Universitas Tanjungpura. The researcher used descriptive quantitative method and used questionnaire as the instrument to describe the students’ perception on the use of Youtube Video in learning speaking skill. The research subject was 18 students of B Class of 2020 English Education Department Univertas Tanjungpura Pontianak. The data that has been generated is based on three parts of Perception which have been modified by researchers to make questionnaire questions. The three parts consist of Visual, Verbal (sound), and Sense (touch). Average of the students acceptance of easiness of Youtube Video showed that most of students (63,12%) on agree perception, most of students (14,22%) on undecided perception and other students (15,28%) on disagree perception. Average of understand in Speaking Learning English showed that most of students (73,8%) on agree perception, most of students (16,68%) on Undecided perception and other students (9,65%) on disagree perception. The conclusion the student was happy and interested use the Youtube as a medium for process in learning speaking and understand to Speaking English.
