Abstract

Teknologi pesawat tanpa awak atau unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) dengan kendali jarak jauh telah berkembang pesat dalam memudahkan kebutuhan khususnya di bidang fotografi. Salah satu jenis UAV yang banyak dibuat atau dikembangkan adalah quadcopter. Pengambilan foto udara misalnya untuk kebutuhan survey, pemetaan, pertanian dan penggunaan tata ruang dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan quadcopter tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun dan mengetahui kinerja quadcopter untuk keperluan foto udara. Dari hasil penelitian telah dikembangkan quadcopter dengan kemampuan gaya angkat total 15,8 newton, rata-rata lama terbang selama 9,6 menit saat pengujian dengan kondisi baterai penuh sampai 11,1 volt yaitu waktu untuk melakukan misi foto udara dan 20,04 menit dari kondisi baterai penuh sampai tegangan pada baterai kosong. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology with remote control has developed rapidly in facilitating needs, especially in the field of photography. One type of UAV that is widely made or developed is the quadcopter. Taking aerial photos, for example, for survey, mapping, agriculture and spatial use can be done by utilizing the quadcopter. This study aims to design and determine the performance of the quadcopter for aerial photography purposes. From the results of the research, a quadcopter has been developed with a total lift capability of 15.8 newtons, an average flight time of 9.6 minutes when testing with a full battery condition up to 11.1 volts, namely the time to carry out aerial photo missions and 20.04 minutes from condition of the battery is full until the voltage on the battery is empty.
