Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial masyarakat terhadap mantan pecandu narkoba di Desa Antibar berdasarkan tahap kontak, tahap keterlibatan, dan tahap keintiman serta untuk menganalisis faktor penghambat interaksi sosial masyarakat terhadap mantan pecandu narkoba di Desa Antibar Kecamatan Mempawah Timur Kabupaten Mempawah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang diaplikasikan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun penentuan informan dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitiannya adalah Mantan Pecandu Narkoba dan Masyarakat di Desa Antibar. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa interaksi sosial masyarakat terhadap mantan pecandu narkoba tidak berjalan dengan baik dan sulit sehingga interaksi yang terjadi menjadi minim dan sangat jarang. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor penghambat seperti, adanya stigma negatif masyarakat terhadap mantan pecandu narkoba, adanya rasa takut dan was-was masyarakat terhadap mantan pencandu narkoba, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri mantan pecandu narkoba untuk berinteraksi dengan masyarakat sehingga merasa sungkan. Hal-hal tersebutlah yang menjadi faktor penghambat interaksi sosial masyarakat terhadap mantan pecandu narkoba di Desa Antibar. Kata kunci: Interaksi Sosial, Masyarakat, Mantan Pecandu Narkoba. This study aims to describe the social interaction of the community with former drug addicts in Antibar Village based on the contact stage, involvement stage, andintimacy stage, as well as to analyze the inhibiting factors of community social interaction with former drug addicts in Antibar Village, East MempawahSub- District, Mempawah Regency. In this study, the research method usedwasdescriptive qualitative method. The informants were selected through purposivesampling. The research subjects were Former Drug Addicts and people of Antibar Village. The results of the study found that community social interactionwithformer drug addicts did not go well and were difficult so that there were little andrare interaction that occurred. This is caused by several inhibiting factors suchasthe negative stigma of society towards former drug addicts, the fear and anxietyof the community towards former drug addicts, and the lack of confidence amongformer drug addicts to interact with the people so that they feel discouraged. These are the inhibiting factors for social interaction with former drug addicts in Antibar Village. Keywords: Social Interaction, Community, Former Drug Addict
