Abstract

DENA ANINDYA PUTRI (E1022181027) Peran ibu Rumah Tangga Dalam Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Pokok Keluarga Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Kelurahan Siantan Hulu Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Skripsi Program Studi Pembangunan Sosial Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Tanjungpura 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjelaskan tentang peran ibu rumah tangga pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pokok keluarga yaitu bekerja sebagai asisten rumah tangga, guru honorer, karyawan toko, dan berdagang. Berikutnya, penulis juga mendeskripsikan hambatan yang dirasakan oleh ibu rumah tangga dalam bekerja membantu memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menerapkan penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif deskriptif guna mendeskripsikan suatu objek yang akan diteliti. Berikutnya, dalam mengumpulkan data penulis melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelah melakukan penelitian, penulis memperoleh hasil penelitian dengan kesimpulan berikut : 1) Peran yang dilakukan oleh ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Siantan Hulu pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dalam membantu suami memenuhi kebutuhan pokok keluarga adalah bekerja sebagai asisten rumah tangga, guru honorer, karyawan toko, dan berdagang. Ibu rumah tangga sudah membantu menghasilkan pendapatan keluarga, memenuhi kebutuhan pangan keluarga, dan memenuhi kebutuhan kesehatan keluarga dengan cukup baik. 2) Hambatan yang dirasakan oleh ibu rumah tangga di kelurahan Siantan Hulu adalah kurangnya waktu bersama keluarga, sulit berinteraksi dengan teman, masalah kesehatan keluarga, dan persaingan dalam perdagangan. Kata kunci : Peran, Ibu Rumah Tangga, Pemenuhan Kebutuhan, Pandemi Covid-19 ABSTRACT DENA ANINDYA PUTRI (E1022181027) The Role of Housewives in Fulfilling Basic Family Needs during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Siantan Hulu Subdistrict of Pontianak Utara District. Thesis of Social Development Study Program of Social and Political Science Faculty of Universitas Tanjungpura. 2022. This study aimed to explain the role of housewives during the COVID-19 pandemic in fulfilling the basic family needs and describe the inhibiting factors that were felt by the housewives in working to fulfill the family needs. This study used the descriptive qualitative research method in order to describe the investigated object. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the roles done by the housewives in Siantan Hulu Subdistrict during the COVID-19 pandemic in assisting the husbands to fulfill the basic family needs were working as household assistants, honorary teachers, store clerks, and merchants. The housewives had helped to generate the family income, meet family food needs, and meet family health needs quite well. The results also showed that the obstacles faced by housewives in the Siantan Hulu Subdistrict were the lack of time with family, difficulty interacting with friends, family health problems, and competition in trade.
