Abstract

Esra Sinaga: Peran Petugas Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Dalam Pengelolaan Sampah Dikelurahan Sungai Beliung Kota Pontianak. Skripsi Program Studi Pembangunan Sosial Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak 2022. Skripsi ini bertujuan guna melihat serta menguraikan bagaimana peran petugas Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dalam pengelolaan sampah Dikelurahan Sungai Beliung Kota Pontianak. Permasalahan yang terjadi dikarenakan sampah yang dihasilkan cukup tinggi yang menyebabkan TPS yang tersedia tidak mampu menampung sampah-sampah tersebut sehingga berceceran dan menyebabkan lingkungan sekitar TPS menjadi tidak sehat juga menimbulkan aroma yang tidak sedap. Riset ini menerapkan riset kualitatif, yakni riset yang mengakaji keadaan suatu hal dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama. Informasi yang dikumpulkan dan analisis yang dilaksanakan keduanya dilakukan secara deskriptif. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa peran petugas Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Pontianak sangat penting dalam pengelolaan sampah yang ada Dikelurahan Sungai Beliung juga peran masyarakat sebagai objek utama penghasil sampah sehari-hari. Oleh sebab itu, baik Petugas Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan masyarakat sebaiknya saling bekerja sama agar sampah-sampah yang dihasilkan setiap hari dapat terolah dengan semestinya, juga agar lingkungan menjadi lebiih bersih dan jauh dari aroma yang tidak sedap maupun sumber penyakit. Undergraduate Thesis, Social Development Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak 2022. This undergraduate thesis aims to reveal and describe the role of the Environment Service Officers in managing waste in the Sungai Beliung Urban Village of Pontianak City. The problem that occurs is that the waste generated by the public is quite high which causes the available dumpsters to be unable to accommodate the waste so that it is scattered and causes the environment around the dumpsters to become unhealthy and also causes unpleasant ordors. This study uses qualitative research, namely research that examines the state of a matter with the researcher as the main instrument. The information collected and the analysis were both carried out descriptively. This research concluded that the role of the Pontianak City Environment Service Officers is very important in managing waste in the Sungai Beliung Urban Village as well as the role of the community as the main object of daily waste generation. Therefore, both the Environment Service Officers and the community should work together so that the waste produced every day can be properly treated, and it also contributes to clean environment, free from unpleasant ordors and sources of disease.
