Abstract

Indonesia merupakan satu-satunya negara di Asia yang belum meratifikasi dan belum menandatangani Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). Dalam upaya mengurangi konsumsi rokok, Pemerintah telah mengeluarkan peraturan tentang rokok yaitu PP No.109 Tahun 2012 yang mewajibkan produsen rokok mencantumkan PHW pada kemasan rokok. Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Santun Pontianak merupakan salah satu SMA Swasta di Kota Pontianak dengan akreditasi B dan berada di lingkungan Universitas Tanjungpura. Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti di SMA Santun Untan didapatkan banyak siswa merokok di lingkungan sekolah yang seharusnya merupakan kawasan tanpa rokok (KTR) sesuai Perda Kota Pontianak Nomor 10 Tahun 2010. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap tentang PHW pada kemasan rokok dengan motivasi berhenti merokok pada siswa SMA Santun Pontianak. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama bulan Oktober 2014 sampai Februari 2015. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA Santun Untan Pontianak sebanyak 45 orang responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 20 dengan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Hasil: Responden penelitian berada pada rentang usia 15 hingga 19 tahun dengan jumlah paling banyak pada usia 17 tahun (51,11%). Semua responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Dari 45 responden, sebanyak 91,11% merupakan perokok ringan, 6,67% merupakan perokok sedang, dan 2,22% merupakan perokok berat. Hasil uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan siswa tentang PHW dengan motivasi berhenti merokok (p=0,759) dan terdapat hubungan antara sikap siswa terhadap PHW dengan motivasi berhenti merokok (p=0,047). Kesimpulan: Sikap siswa terhadap PHW memiliki hubungan bermakna secara statistik dengan motivasi berhenti merokok. Abstract Indonesia is the only country in Asia that have not yet signed and ratified Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). In an effort to reduce cigarette consumption, the Government has issued PP No.109 in 2012 that requires cigarette manufacturers to include Pictorial Health Warning on cigarette packaging. Santun Senior High School is one of private school in Pontianak city that has B accreditation from BAN-SM. Despite Pontianak’s no-smoking area policy, many students still smoke on school based on the writer’s preliminery study. Objective: To determine the relationship between student’s knowledge and attitude toward PHW on cigarette packages and motivation to quit smoking. Methodology: This research was an analytic study with crosssectional approach conducted from October 2014 to February 2015. As much as 45 students were included in this study. Data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test in SPSS 20th version. Results: Respondent of this study aged between 15 and 19, and majority (51,11%) of respondents were 17 years age. All of respondents were male students. 91,11% of them were light smokers, 6,67% were moderate smokers, and 2,22% were heavy smokers. There were no relationship between student’s knowledge toward PHW and motivation to quit smoking (p=0,759) and there were relationship between student’s attitude toward PHW and motivation to quit smoking (p=0,047), rescpectively. Conclusion: Student’s attitude toward PHW are related to motivation to quit smoking.
