Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis proses Pengembangan Objek Wisata Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum (TNDS) oleh Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, serta melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori menurut Oka A. Yoeti (2016,48-49) yang mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat beberapa aspek-aspek yang perlu diketahui dalam pengembangan pariwisata ialah sebagai berikut: Atraksi/obyek wisata, Fasilitas pelayanan, Informasi dan promosi. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti mengungkapkan bahwa pada proses Pengembangan Objek Wisata Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum (TNDS) yang dikelola oleh Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu ini yang secara langsung menjalin kerjasama dengan Organisasi TNBKDS selaku pengelola Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum dan Betung Kerihun tersebut sudah membangun atau meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada serta telah melaksanakan salah satu kegiatan Pokdarwis yang dilaksanakan didalam kawasan TNDS tersebut. Saran peneliti dalam mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah kedua pihak organisasi tersebut harus mampu menjalin kinerja yang sinergis guna untuk membangun obyek wisata Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum menjadi obyek wisata unggulan, serta memberikan pelatihan pada masyarakat setempat untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam mengelola obyek wisata yang sudah ada. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the process of developing the Lake Sentarum National Park Tourism Object (TNDS) by the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Kapuas Hulu Regency. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used in this research is the theory proposed by Oka A. Yoeti (2016,48-49) which reveals that there are several aspects that need to be known in tourism development, such as: attractions / tourist objects, service facilities, information and promotions. The results of the research conducted by the researcher revealed that in the process of developing the Danau Sentarum National Park Tourism Object (TNDS) managed by the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of the Kapuas Hulu Regency which directly collaborated with the TNBKDS Organization as the manager of the Danau Sentarum and Betung Kerihun National Parks has built or improved existing facilities and infrastructure and has conducted one of the Pokdarwis activities in the DSNP area. The researcher's suggestion in overcoming this problem is that the two organizations must be able to establish a synergistic performance in order to build the Lake Sentarum National Park tourism object into a leading tourist attraction, as well as to provide training to the local community to develop skills and knowledge in managing existing tourism objects.
