Abstract

Aktivitas Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak sempat berhenti sejenak akibat dampak Covid-19. Pemerintah sempat mengeluarkan perintah agar akses pelabuhan ditutup sementara untuk menghindari mata rantai penularan Covid-19. Penutupan akses pelabuhan hanya berlaku untuk angkutan penumpang ke seluruh destinasi yang akan berangkat dari Kalbar, sedangkan untuk aktivitas bongkar muat barang tetap berjalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui dampak Covid-19 terhadap transportasi laut di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis data penumpang tahun 2019-2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak Covid-19 menyebabkan aktivitas transportasi laut di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak mengalami penurunan jumlah kedatangan dan keberangkatan kapal penumpang. Untuk jumlah kedatangan kapal penumpang terjadi penurunan pada periode 2020 sebesar -69% menjadi -63% pada periode 2021, sedangkan jumlah keberangkatan kapal penumpang mengalami penurunan pada periode 2020 sebesar -73% menjadi -79% pada periode 2020 dengan tolok ukur periode 2019. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pandemi Covid-19 berdampak signifikan terhadap transportasi laut di Pelabuhan Dwikora Pontianak; The activity of the Pontianak Dwikora Port was shortly stopped due to the impact of Covid-19. The government had issued an order for port access to be temporarily closed to avoid the chain of transmission of Covid-19. The closing of port access only applies to passenger transportation to all destinations that will depart from West Kalimantan, while the loading and unloading activities at the port are still running. This study aims to determine the impact of Covid-19 on sea transportation at Pontianak Dwikora Port. The research method used is observational with a descriptive approach and passenger data analysis for 2019-2021. The results showed that the impact of Covid-19 affected the decreasing number of arrivals and departures of passenger ships. The number of passenger ship arrivals decreased in the 2020 period by -69% to -63% in the 2021 period, while the number of passenger ship departures decreased in the 2020 period by -73% to -79% in the 2020 period, with the benchmark for the 2019 period. It is proved that the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the sea transportation at the Pontianak Dwikora Port. Keywords: Impact, Covid-19, Sea Transportation, Port
