Abstract
The research was conducted to improve the eighth students speaking skill of SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Pontianak in the academic year 2021/2022 through Youtube Video Titled Hare and The Tortoise. It was a classroom action research which consisted of two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of eighth grade. The data were qualitative data, which were collected by observing the teaching and learning process. The data were in the form of observation checklist and field notes. The procedures of the research were planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The result of this research showed that the use of a Youtube Video Titled Hare and The Tortoise as the learning media had improved students speaking skill and helped students to become active and confident to speak in English.
