Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis Peran Orang Tua Dalam Mencegah Anak Putus Sekolah Di Desa Bani Amas Kecamatan Bengkayang Kabupaten Bengkayang. Dimana masih terdapat beberapa anak mengalami putus sekolah di Desa Bani Amas Kecamatan Bengkayang Kabupaten Bengkayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskritif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan Teknik Purposive. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan teori Abu Ahmadi (2001:4), Menunjukan secara umum Peran Orang Tua Dalam Mencegah Anak Putus Sekolah Di Desa Bani Amas Kecamatan Bengkayang Kabupaten Bengkayang belum dapat dikatakan berhasil. Hal ini di lihat dari indikator: 1) Pelaksanaan peran pendidik belum terlalu maksimal karena kuranya pemahaman tentang peran orang tua terhadap Pendidikan. 2) Pendorong, kurangnya dorongan belajar dari orang tua mengakibatkan anak mengalami putus sekolah dimana peran orang tua sangat penting dalam pembelajaran anak disekolah maupun diluar sekolah. 3) Panutan, dimana peran orang tua sudah memberikan arahan yang baik terhadap anak yang mengalami putus sekolah, tetapi anak yang mengalami putus sekolah dikarekan kemauannya sendiri tidak ada paksan dari orang disekitarnya. 4) Fasilitator, dalam proses pelengkapan pembelajaran sudah cukup baik, setiap anak yang sekolah memiliki perlengkapan yang sudah diberikan orang tua kepada mereka, sedangkan disekolah sudah di katakan mencukupi mengenai fasilitas belajar di sekolah. Namun hal ini masih saja ada anak yang mengalami putus sekolah sehingga membuat orang tua menjadi tidak peduli lagi dalam memenuhi setiap perlengkapan Pendidikan anaknya. Saran yang penulis rekomendasikan adalah harus dilakukan pengawasan terhadap anak yang mengalami putus sekolah oleh orang tua maupun guru dalam Pendidikan anak, sehingga informasi yang diberikan bisa dipahami dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan Mencegah Anak Putus Sekolah. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of parents in preventing children dropping out of school in Bani Amas Village, Bengkayang District, Bengkayang Regency. Where there are still some children who have dropped out of school in Bani Amas Village, Bengkayang District, Bengkayang Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. In this study the subjects were selected using the purposive technique. Based on the results of research using the theory of Abu Ahmadi (2001:4), it shows that in general the role of parents in preventing children dropping out of school in Bani Amas Village, Bengkayang District, Bengkayang Regency can not be said to be successful. This can be seen from the indicators: 1) The implementation of the role of educators has not been maximized due to a lack of understanding of the role of parents in education. 2) Encouragers, the lack of encouragement to learn from parents causes children to drop out of school where the role of parents is very important in children's learning at school and outside school. 3) Role models, where the role of parents has given good direction to children who have dropped out of school, but children who have dropped out of school are because of their own will there is no coercion from the people around them. 4) The facilitator, in the process of completing the learning is quite good, every child who goes to school has equipment that has been given to them by parents, while at school it is said to be sufficient regarding learning facilities at school. However, there are still children who drop out of school so that parents don't care anymore in fulfilling their children's educational equipment. The suggestion that the author recommends is that parents and teachers should supervise children who have dropped out of school in children's education, so that the information provided can be understood properly in accordance with the goal of Preventing Dropouts.
