Abstract

Zulvani Afrilia: Peran Dinas Kepemudaan Olahraga dan Pariwisata dalam Pembangunan Objek Wisata di Kawasan Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Penulisan Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Dinas Kepemudaan Olahraga dan Pariwisata dalam Pembangunan Objek Wisata di Kawasan Taman Nasional Danau Sentarum Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Dinas Pariwisata sebagai yang berperan sebagai motivator, Fasilitator dan dinamisator dalam mewujudkan peningkatan wisatawan yang berkunjung serta mensejahterakan masyarakat disekitar Pulau tersebut.Maka dari itu, dengan adanya peran Dinas Pariwisata yang secara langsung optimal dan mendalam untuk membangun masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dimana data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak tujuh orang diantaranya Kepala Bidang Destinasi Pariwisata, Kepala Balai Besar Taman Nasional Betung Kerihun dan Danau Sentarum (BBTNBKDS), Sekretaris Desa Lanjak Deras, Masyarakat Setempat, dan Pengunjung objek wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Dinas Pariwisata dalam meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung Objek Wisata Pulau Sepandan melakukan berbagai promosi melalui media online, event-event, pameran, spanduk dan brosur.Peningkatan motivasi dengan memberi pelatihan pada masyarakat. Dinas Pariwisata melakukan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat sekitar pulau tersebut dengan memberikan arahan dan sosialisasi dalam pembuatan souvenir. Kata Kunci : Peran Dinas Pariwisata, Pengelolaan, Pulau Sepandan Zulvani Afrilia: The Roles of the Youth, Sports, and TourismDepartment intheTourism Object Development in Danau Sentarum National Park Area of Kapuas HuluRegency. This study aimed to find out the Roles of the Youth, Sports, and TourismDepartment intheTourism Object Development in Danau Sentarum National Park Area of Kapuas HuluRegency. The Tourism Department is a motivator, facilitator, and dynamist in actualizinganimprovement in tourists visiting and prospering the people around the island. Therefore, therole of the Tourism Office is directly optimal and deep to build the community. This studyused the qualitative research design with a descriptive approach where the data was obtainedthrough observation, interviews, and documentation. There were 7 informants for this study, specifically the Head of Tourism Destination, Head of Betung Kerihun and Danau SentarumNational Park Center (BBTNBKDS), Secretary of Lanjak Deras Village, Local Community, and Visitors of Tourism Object. The results of this study showed that the role of the TourismDepartment in increasing the number of visitors to the Sepandan Island TourismObject wasby doing various promotions through online media, events, exhibitions, banners, andbrochures and increasing motivation by providing training to the community. The TourismDepartment empowered the community around the island by providing directionandsocialization in making souvenirs. Keywords: The Role of Tourism Department, Management, Sepandan Village
