Abstract
This research was purposed to design appropriate interactive multimedia for theseventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Sintang. The product was developed usingMicrosoft PowerPoint. Its contents were adapted from the Buku PR Bahasa InggrisKelas VII (LKS) published by Intan Pariwara. It was development research byfollowing the ADDIE model. However, the implementation and evaluation phaseswere excluded due to the time limitation. An English teacher of SMP Negeri 4Sintang was an informant for this research. A semi-structured interview was usedto collect data on the English teacher and students' needs. Moreover, internal validation was to ensure the appropriateness of interactive multimedia. Its contentsand design appropriateness are in the range good to excellent category. The resultsshowed that interactive multimedia is applicable.
