Abstract

This study aimed to describe and analyze the collaboration component in developing the Keraton Matan Tanjungpura Tourism Destination in Ketapang Regency. This study discussed the collaboration pattern between the Tourism and Culture Department and the community in the development of Keraton Matan Tanjungpura Tourism Destination. This study used the descriptive research design which aimed to describe a symptom or event that is currently happening by focusing on the actual problems as they were at the time the research took place. This study also used the qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. This study used Ansell and Gash’s theory (2008:543) which the collaboration components consisted of face-to-face dialogue, building trust, commitment, and mutual understanding. The results of this study showed that the efforts done by the Tourism and Culture Department were not optimal yet which could be seen from the tourism department which did not have a program and most of the programs were run by IKRMAT (Matan Tanjungpura Royal Family Association). Generally, the results showed that the IKRMAT played an important role in maximizing efforts to develop the Keraton Matan Tanjungpura Tourism Destination. The community also played an important role in the development of Keraton Matan Tanjungpura Tourism Destination, community participation was actualized in the form of community participation in working together to help with events being held. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis komponen kolaborasi dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata Keraton Matan Tanjungpura di Kabupaten Ketapang. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pola kolaborasi yang terjadi antara Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan dengan masyarakat dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan destinasi wisata Keraton Matan Tanjungpura. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif yaitu bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan suatu gejala, peristiwa, kejadian yang terjadi saat sekarang, dengan memusatkan perhatian kepada masalah-masalah secara aktual sebagaimana adanya pada saat penelitian berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan pengamatan atau observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Ansell dan Gash (2008:543) komponen-komponen kolaborasi terdiri dari, dialog tatap muka, membangun kepercayaan, komitmen, pemahaman bersama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan dalam melakukan pengembangan destinasi wisata Keraton Matan Tanjungpura belum optimal dapat dilihat dari dinas pariwisata yang tidak memiliki program dan sebagian besar program dijalankan oleh IKRAMAT. Secara umum hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IKRAMAT (Ikatan Keluarga Kerajaan Matan Tanjungpura) yang berperan penting dalam memaksimalkan upaya pengembangan destinasi wisata Keraton Matan Tanjungpura. Masyarakat juga berperan penting dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata Keraton Matan Tanjungpura, partisipasi masyarakat diwujudkan dalam bentuk keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam bergotong-royong membantu adanya event-event yang diadakan.
